In the first round of the selection process, hopefuls uploaded an audition video to YouTube. Views on the YouTube audition videos were a valuable commodity in the early stages of the competition. When they announced the semifinalists on March 24, actors in this stage, had 2 hours to memorize a prepared monologue provided by the Producers, then film, and post their callback auditions to their Reel Deal profiles. |
